Corps hosts scientists and engineers for 10th annual Willamette Fisheries Science Review

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host the Willamette Fisheries Science Review, a multi-day annual meeting, highlighting results of the 2019 Corps-funded research in the Willamette Valley, Oregon. The Corps will hold the event at the LaSells Stewart Center, Oregon State University, Feb. 11-12.

Mid-Columbia River Regional Master Plan & Integrated Environmental Assessment

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District (Corps) is making available for public review the 90% draft Mid-Columbia River Regional Master Plan, integrated Environmental Assessment (EA), and draft finding of no significant impact (FONSI). The master plan is for the Corps’ Mid- Columbia River Projects (Bonneville Lock and Dam, The Dalles Lock and Dam, John Day Lock and Dam, and Willow Creek Project).

Open House: Feasibility Study of the Portland Metro Levee System (PMLS)

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps), in partnership with Levee Ready Columbia, will hold an informational meeting on the Portland Metro Levee System Feasibility Study on August 28, 2019 at Multnomah County Drainage District, 1880 NE Elrod Drive, Portland. The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm, with the Corps providing updates from the Open Houses conducted last December 2018.

Record of Decision: Mount St. Helens long-term sediment management plan

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District, is providing notice that the Record of Decision for the Mount St. Helens Long-Term Sediment Management Plan was signed on September 26, 2018. The selected alternative is the Phased Construction Alternative in conjunction with the modify Fish CF measure. This alternative was identified as the preferred alternative in the SEIS and is the recommended plan.
