  • Tillamook S. Jetty Repairs Environmental Assessment Finding of No Significant Impact

    USACE has determined that critical repairs to the Tillamook South Jetty, which includes placement of large stone to rebuild portions of the jetty head and trunk, will not result in significant impacts to the human environment. Therefore, an environmental impact statement (EIS) will not be prepared.
  • Supplemental EA & FONSI for Depoe Bay Maintenance Dredging

    Interested parties are hereby notified that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District (USACE) has finalized the Depoe Bay Maintenance Dredging Supplemental Environmental Assessment (SEA) in Lincoln County, Oregon and signed a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI). The SEA and FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Council on Environmental Quality’s NEPA regulations (40 CFR §§ 1500–1508), and the Corps’ NEPA regulations (33 CFR Part 230).
  • Corps seeks public comments on draft feasibility report and environmental assessment for Willamette Basin Review feasibility study

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District and the Oregon Water Resources Department, seeks comment on its draft Integrated Feasibility Report and Environmental Assessment (EA) and draft Finding of No Significant Impacts for the Willamette Basin Review feasibility study. This study will be used to formulate a recommendation to the Chief of Engineers on the potential allocation of storage in the Corps’ Willamette Valley reservoirs, referred to collectively as the Willamette Valley Project.
