The RAB integrates public participation by involving the community in the environmental investigation and cleanup decision-making process at the Bradford Island NPL Site. The RAB establishes and maintains a forum with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Oregon and Washington state regulators, community members and other interested parties. This forum provides the exchange of information about environmental restoration at the Bradford Island NPL Site in an open and interactive dialogue following the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) guidelines. RAB members learn about the environmental cleanup activities, provide input to the USACE and share USACE plans with the community. The public is encouraged to attend in person or online via Teams. Members of the public will have an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments.
