Corps' Regulatory Branch Seeks Discussion Topics for Open House

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, Regulatory Branch (Corps) is hosting an open house on Monday, April 9, 2018. The event will occur in the Portland State Office Building at 800 NE Oregon Street in Conference Room 1A. The event will run from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you plan to attend, please RSVP to: portlandregulatory@usace.army.mil. There is no cost to attend.
This event is an opportunity for consultants, project proponents and other members of the public to learn about recent and upcoming changes in the Corps Regulatory program and to meet informally with regulatory project managers, program managers and supervisors who work across Oregon. Representatives from the Oregon Department of State Lands (DSL) and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will also be in attendance.
The Corps plans to cover issues related to Wetland Delineations, including submitting Wetland Delineation Reports to the Corps and requesting Jurisdictional Determinations from the Corps. A representative from DSL will be in attendance to address any DSL-specific requirements. The Corps will also provide an update on the Aquatic Resources Mitigation Framework. The DEQ will provide updates on the Clean Water Act Section 401 Water Quality Certification Program, including new stormwater guidance.
The Corps is soliciting topics for the remainder of the agenda. If there is a topic you would like the Corps to address, please include your suggestions in your RSVP e-mail. Please provide any suggestions you have by February 23, 2018.
There will be brief welcoming remarks and introductions, announcements and presentations and some time for informal conversations.
