Proposed changes: Joint Regulatory permit application

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers / Oregon Dept. of State Lands
Published May 30, 2013

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District and the Oregon Department of State Lands both administer wetland and waterway regulatory programs in Oregon. As a matter of efficiency, the agencies utilize a “joint permit application” form intended to meet the requirements of both agencies.

The DSL and Corps last updated the joint application form in 2009. The agencies now propose to reorganize and modify the form to make it easier for applicants to apply for permits while providing the information required to address the needs of both programs.

The Corps and DSL are seeking review and comment on the draft application form and associated instructions until June 29, 2013. After the comment period closes, the agencies will consider all comments and publish the revised joint application form and instructions on the DSL website, available as a hard-copy, fillable PDF document. DSL will also update Chapter 5 of the Removal-Fill Guide to reflect final changes to the form.

Comments may be provided to either or both agencies:
