Corps seeks comment on the transfer of the Hammond Small Boat Basin

PORTLAND, Ore. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking public comment on the Environmental Assessment (EA) and draft Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the transfer of the Hammond Small Boat Basin to the City of Warrenton, located in Clatsop County, Oregon.

After the land is transferred, the City of Warrenton will assume full responsibility for operating and maintaining the channel and the breakwater. 

The EA is available for download on the USACE Digital Library, at https://usace.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/collection/p16021coll7/id/7748.

All interested parties are invited to submit written comments regarding the EA and draft FONSI to the Corps by Sept. 6, 2018.
