Detroit Dam
Typically, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers stores water up to 1,564 feet elevation during the summer recreation season and 1,450 feet elevation during the winter at Detroit Dam. One alternative to assist with building a temperature control structure in the lake is to hold the water elevation to 1,310 feet elevation during construction, which could have significant impacts to various water users in the community.
