PORTLAND, Ore. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking public comments on its proposal to lease approximately 50 acres to the Port of Morrow near Boardman, Ore., for development as an outdoor recreation park.

The proposed lease would allow for the development of athletic fields, an amphitheater, a dog park, playgrounds, picnic areas and natural areas.  The park boundary would be set back 50 feet from the shoreline to maintain a natural riparian buffer.
