PORTLAND, Ore. – Do you like treasure hunts? Geocaching is a big, outdoor, treasure hunt, and park rangers at The Dalles Lock and Dam invite the public to take part in an amazing race, geocache style, between 1 and 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 29.

Seufert and Patterson parks will have five hidden geocaches. With a GPS unit or smart phone app, visitors can enter coordinates of a geocache, and follow the path to a hidden treasure.

Park rangers will offer introductions and guidance to geocaching to make this a memorable day with family and friends.
