Corps proposes cleanup at U.S. Government Moorings

PORTLAND, ORE. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is asking for public comments on a proposed plan to remove potentially erodible contaminated soils at the U.S. Government Moorings site.
 
The Moorings is located on the west bank of the Willamette River at River Mile 6.2, within an area identified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a Superfund site.  The site is used to berth and maintain Corps dredges and hydrosurvey vessels.

The Corps' 2012 Upland Feasibility Study describes proposed action alternatives in detail, including the Corps' preferred alternative.  The report is available for public review at http://www.nwp.usace.army.mil.

 Button image Right-click that icon, and then copy the shortcut to the Clipboard.
Press Ctrl+V to paste the information from the Clipboard into the RSS Feed location box.
