Westmoreland Park ecosystem restoration
Water begins flowing through Westmoreland Park in the newly constructed channel in Crystal Springs Creek. The new stream channel contains deep and shallow areas, known as pools and riffles, as well as large trees and wood, placed intentionally to provide habitat for fish and wildlife. The Westmoreland Park ecosystem restoration is being accomplished in partnership with the city of Portland.
