District rangers attend water safety summit
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is the largest federal provider of outdoor recreational services in the nation, so it’s no surprise that water safety is one of our missions. That’s why about 70 Corps park rangers from across the country attended the 16th Annual International Boating and Water Safety Summit in San Diego, Calif. Three District park rangers attended the March summit: Christie Johnson, Kelly Thomas and Amber Tilton.
