This Memorial Day weekend and continuing into the summer, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' (USACE) reservoirs in the Willamette Valley are overflowing with recreation opportunities for visitors of all ages.

Since 2010 park rangers at The Dalles Lock & Dam have hosted an annual Eagle Watch from The Dalles Dam Visitor Center.
The crew of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' dredge vessel, the Yaquina, stands together as the vessel is in dry dock in September 2023. Members of the Yaquina crew rescued a woman from the river after she'd fallen into the currents several miles upriver.
