Lock operations will be suspended on Thursday 5/23/24 from 10:00 until 16:00 while divers are conducting inspections in the area of the downstream navigation lock gates. No vessels are allowed within 400’ of the downstream gates.

‘Man Overboard’: Dredge vessel crew saves woman swept away by Columbia River
The crew of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' dredge vessel, the Yaquina, stands together as the vessel is in dry dock in September 2023. Members of the Yaquina crew rescued a woman from the river after she'd fallen into the currents several miles upriver.
