Fern Ridge controlled burn may impact Highway 126
The Corps alerts motorists in the Eugene, Ore., area that a controlled ecological burn planned for southeast of Fern Ridge Reservoir this week may cause intermittent delays to traffic on Oregon State Highway 126 between Eugene and Veneta.

Corps announces Columbia River winter recreational vessel lockage schedule
The winter recreational vessel lock schedule for Columbia River dams began Sept. 16 and will continue through May 14, 2014 at the Bonneville, The Dalles and John Day locks. Recreational vessels may lock through on request during daylight hours only.

Low Columbia River water levels possible between Bonneville Dam and Longview, Wash., beginning Aug. 31
Columbia River users are being cautioned that water levels from downstream of Bonneville Dam to Longview, Wash., will decrease starting Labor Day weekend, and could remain low for several weeks.
