  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Seeks Public Comment on Bradford Island Cleanup Plan

    Portland District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) invites the public to comment on the Engineering Evaluation/Cost Analysis (EE/CA) Report for the Upland Operable Unit (OU) of Bradford Island in Cascade Locks, Oregon. The EE/CA identifies and evaluates potential removal alternatives for sources of contamination within the Upland OU at the Bradford Island National Priorities List (NPL) site.
  • Corps to Host Public Meeting on Bradford Island Cleanup

    Portland District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) will host a virtual public meeting May 12, 5:30-7 p.m., to discuss the ongoing cleanup of contaminants found at Bradford Island from historical waste operations and disposal at the site. 
  • EPA adds Bradford Island to the Superfund list

    Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency adds a portion of Bradford Island, which lies within the Bonneville Lock & Dam complex and is operated by Portland District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, to the National Priorities List.
  • Bonneville Dam Bradford Island Visitor Center temporary closure extended to Dec. 8

    Bonneville Lock and Dam’s Bradford Island Visitor Center remains closed until Dec. 8, during repairs to the bridge crossing the Bradford Island fish ladder, the primary entrance to the visitor center.
