  • Corps makes new changes to camping along Columbia River

    Beginning Nov. 1, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will close all primitive camping areas for the season at The Dalles and John Day dams. These closures are part of a new camping policy the Corps is implementing this year.
  • Eagle Watch at The Dalles Dam Visitor Center scheduled: Jan. 24

    Catch a glimpse of the American bald eagle during the Corps’ fifth annual Dam Eagle Watch on Jan. 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Dalles Dam Visitor Center in The Dalles, Oregon.
  • Reminder: Hunting not allowed on most Corps lands

    With waterfowl hunting season beginning Sept. 6, the Corps urges all hunters to respect the boundaries of Corps projects when they are hunting in these areas.
  • Corps of Engineers offers holiday tours of The Dalles Dam

    We'll offer regularly scheduled Saturday and Sunday tours of The Dalles Dam, and additional tours on Monday for Labor Day, beginning at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
  • Corps hosts Eagle Watch at The Dalles

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host The Dalles Dam Bald Eagle Watch Jan. 19 and 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Dalles Dam Visitor Center in The Dalles, Ore. Area residents and visitors can catch a glimpse of our national symbol, the American bald eagle, and other raptors during this two-day event.

 Button image Right-click that icon, and then copy the shortcut to the Clipboard.
Press Ctrl+V to paste the information from the Clipboard into the RSS Feed location box.
