Corps seeks comments on regional general permit

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is asking the public to comment on a proposal to reissue a regional general permit authorizing the U.S. Forest Service and U.S. Bureau of Land Management to conduct aquatic habitat restoration activities within the state of Oregon.

Furloughs impact Corps regulatory offices

Due to the government shutdown, regulatory offices will be minimally staffed, and unable to evaluate individual permit applications, pre-construction notifications for nationwide permit or regional general permit authorizations, or requests for jurisdictional determinations until after funding is received.
