  • Corps extends public comment period for proposed Willamette Valley System 30-year plan

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Portland District (Corps) has extended the deadline from Jan. 19 to Feb. 23 for public feedback on its proposed 30-year plan for the operation and maintenance of 13 dams and reservoirs across the Willamette River Basin.
  • Corps awards hatchery operations contract

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers awarded a $6.2 million contract to Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife to operate and maintain the Bonneville Fish Hatchery, on the Columbia River. The firm-fixed contract is for one year, with two consecutive option years, if exercised, in-order-to produce fall Chinook to aid in mitigation obligations for The Dalles and John Day dams.

Microsoft Outlook Instructions
1. In Outlook, right-click the RSS Feeds folder and choose Add a New RSS Feed.
2. In the New RSS Feed dialog box, enter the URL of the RSS Feed.

Tip: If you need help finding the RSS feed URL on a website, look for an RSS icon.
 Button image Right-click that icon, and then copy the shortcut to the Clipboard.
Press Ctrl+V to paste the information from the Clipboard into the RSS Feed location box.

Internet Explorer Instructions
Open Internet explorer and open any USACE website. Look for the small RSS icon and click on that icon as show in this image:
Once it opens in Internet Explorer, it will have an option at the top to subscribe to this RSS feed as show here:
