MCR North Head Draft EA and FONSI - 1/26/2018: Interested parties are hereby notified that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District (Corps) is seeking public comments on the Draft Environmental Assessment for the Mouth of the Columbia River Dredged Material Placement Sites Update: Clatsop County, Oregon and Pacific County, Washington (EA).

2018 Annual Maintenance Navigation Lock Closure Scheduled at Bonneville, The Dalles and John Day - 12/29/2017: The annual maintenance lock closure for Portland District, Corps of Engineers is scheduled for March 2018. Maintenance, inspection and repair work will take place at the locks during the closure. Locks to be closed include Bonneville Lock & Dam (Columbia River Mile 145); The Dalles Lock & Dam (Columbia River Mile 191); and John Day Lock & Dam (Columbia River Mile 216).

The Corps and Columbia River Ports jointly preparing an environmental impact statement (EIS) for The Lower Columbia River Federal Navigation Channel Maintenance Plan - 9/8/2017: Interested parties and tribes are hereby notified that the Portland District of the Corps and the Sponsor Ports are preparing a joint Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for The Lower Columbia River Federal Navigation Channel Maintenance Plan (Plan) and are seeking public input during an extended scoping period, from September 8 through November 16, 2017.
