Listening Session Events

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, Regulatory Branch (Corps) is hosting two listening sessions on Monday, September 23, 2024. The first from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Session #1) and the second from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Session #2). The events will occur in the Roseburg Public Library at 1409 NE Diamond Lake Blvd, Roseburg, Oregon, in the Ford Room. This room has limited capacity of 100 people. These events will also be broadcast virtually.

These events will serve as an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions and provide feedback on the Corps Regulatory Programs, including (but not limited to) processes, changes, and area projects. These events will also be a chance for the public to get a short introductory overview on how the Regulatory Program works. There will be brief welcoming remarks, introductions, and announcements. The intention is for the Corps to spend a majority of the time listening to comments from the public and Q&A.

Questions/comments will be fielded by prior sign-up first and then will be opened up to in-person attendees (alternating between in-person and virtual) once the prior sign-up list has been exhausted. Each speaker will be allotted approximately 5 minutes in order to have time for as many questions/comments as possible. If you are interested in adding your name to the speaker sign-up list, please email PortlandRegulatory@usace.army.mil with your name, phone number, and the specific session (#1 or #2) you plan on attending by Monday, September 16, 2024.
