The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District, is evaluating an application for a Department of the Army permit (No. NWP2022-00126-2), a request for Section 408 permission (No. 408-0093-FY22), and request for real estate outgrant(s) for the proposed Cascade Renewable Transmission Project. USACE as the lead federal agency under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), has determined the proposed project may significantly affect the quality of the human environment and will prepare an environmental impact statement (EIS).  The EIS will assess the reasonably foreseeable potential environmental, ecological, aesthetic, historic, cultural, economic, social, and health effects of the proposed project, as applicable.
