Corps seeks public comment on Caspian Tern Nesting Island Construction draft Supplemental Environmental Assessment

The Corps is seeking public comment on its draft Supplemental Environmental Assessment evaluating the environmental effects of demolishing a floating island within the Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge and constructing a permanent island made of rock in its place. Comments are open through July 27.

Final FS and EA: Corps releases final Environmental Assessment for Caspian tern nesting habitat management

On March 25, 2014, we released the final Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for Caspian Tern nesting habitat management on East Sand Island.
