Tillamook South Jetty Repairs Environmental Assessment
Portland District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is making critical repairs to the Tillamook South Jetty. Repairs includes the placement of large stone to rebuild portions of the South Jetty head and trunk along with roadway improvements and the construction of a temporary material offload facility (MOF) near Kincheloe Point. Minor dredging will be done to maintain barge access to the MOF and utilization of upland staging and stockpiling areas. USACE has determined the construction will not result in significant impacts to the human environment.
