The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will perform spillway gate rehabilitation work at Detroit Dam from Friday, Nov. 1 through Feb. 15, 2020.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Dam Safety team is conducting a geotechnical investigation at Cougar Dam beginning today, Friday, Sept. 20.
On Friday, September 13, over 1,500 cyclists spent the final night of a seven day, 485-mile ride at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Schwarz Campground near Dorena Lake.
This year, Blue River Dam turns 50-years-old, and marks the 50th commemoration of the completion of the entire system of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ 13 dams in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, which has been systematically protecting people, infrastructure and a way-of-life since 1969.
The Portland District welcomes Craig Johnson as the new District Tribal Liaison. This position serves as the direct link between the Corps and the 16 Native American Indian tribes spread across the Northwestern region.
