    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps), Portland District, Regulatory Branch is providing the following emergency permitting procedures to the public: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) defines emergency by our Regulations at 33 CFR Part 325.2(e)(4) as a situation which would result in an unacceptable hazard to life, a significant loss of property, or an immediate, unforeseen, and significant economic hardship if corrective action requiring a Department of the Army permit is not undertaken within a time period less than the normal time needed to process the application under standard procedures.

  • Proposal to accept funds from Jordan Cove Energy Project, L.P.

    Marci Johnson is the point-of-contact for this special public notice announcing the preliminary intent to accept funds from Jordan Cove Energy Project, L.P., to expedite the Department of the Army’s processing of Jordan Cove's proposed request to construct and operate a liquefied natural gas terminal on the bay side of the north spit of Coos Bay in Coos County, Oregon. Expiration date for this 30-day notice is Jan. 4, 2016.
