PORTLAND, ORE. – Bonneville Lock and Dam’s Bradford Island Visitor Center remains closed until Dec. 8, during repairs to the bridge crossing the Bradford Island fish ladder, the primary entrance to the visitor center. Visitors will be redirected to the Washington shore visitor center, located on Washington State Route 14. This visitor center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; fishing and hiking areas are open from 7 a.m.

The Bonneville Fish Hatchery remains unaffected by the construction and is operating on its regular schedule. All other visitor areas, including fishing areas and hiking trails on Robbins and Bradford islands remain open.

To reach the Washington Shore visitor center, travel on Washington State Route 14 to milepost 39, then turn onto Dam Access Road about one mile west of the dam, or three miles west of the Bridge of the Gods. Follow the signs to the visitor center.
