Corps seeks comments on Port of Morrow park proposal

PORTLAND, Ore. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking public comments on its proposal to lease approximately 50 acres to the Port of Morrow near Boardman, Ore., for development as an outdoor recreation park.

The proposed lease would allow for the development of athletic fields, an amphitheater, a dog park, playgrounds, picnic areas and natural areas.  The park boundary would be set back 50 feet from the shoreline to maintain a natural riparian buffer.
 
The Corps’ draft environmental assessment of the impacts associated with this proposed action is available for public review and comment at http://www.nwp.usace.army.mil/Media/Announcements.aspx.

 Button image Right-click that icon, and then copy the shortcut to the Clipboard.
Press Ctrl+V to paste the information from the Clipboard into the RSS Feed location box.
