Corps seeks comments on environmental assessment of Creswell water supply proposal

PORTLAND, Ore. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking public comment on its draft environmental assessment of a proposal to supply 437 acre-feet of surplus water to the City of Creswell, Ore.

The City would enter into a five-year agreement with the Corps to withdraw additional water supplied from Cottage Grove and Dorena reservoirs to meet municipal and industrial water supply demands.

The draft environmental assessment of this proposal is available for public review and comment at http://www.nwp.usace.army.mil/Media/Announcements.aspx. Questions or comments regarding the draft EA should refer to public notice CENWP-PM-E-14-06, and be directed by email to wbr@usace.army.mil, or by mail to:

 Button image Right-click that icon, and then copy the shortcut to the Clipboard.
Press Ctrl+V to paste the information from the Clipboard into the RSS Feed location box.
