  • Corps seeks comment on Mid-Columbia River Regional Master Plan

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking public comment and will conduct a series of open houses to help determine the issues to be addressed in the Mid-Columbia River Regional Master Plan and integrated environmental assessment. Each open house will provide general information about the Mid-Columbia River Regional Master Plan, and individual open houses will focus on specific areas.
  • Cougar Dam Road closure extended

    The road over Cougar Dam and Reservoir, located on the South Fork of the McKenzie River, will remain closed due to construction and a geotechnical investigation through the end of February 2018. The west side of Cougar Reservoir and access to Terwilliger Hot Springs from Forest Service Road 19, about 3 miles south of the dam, remains blocked due to rockfall.
  • Road and area closures at Cape Disappointment State Park

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will begin rehabilitating the Mouth of the Columbia River’s North Jetty in February, impacting public access to parts of Cape Disappointment State Park.
  • See raptors at The Dalles Dam Eagle Watch

    The eagles have landed! Join U.S. Army Corps of Engineers park rangers to learn about our national bird, watch the raptors in their natural habitat and enjoy interactive educational activities. Eagle Watch will take place Saturday, Jan. 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    The Corps is seeking public comments and will conduct an open house Jan. 10 to help determine the issues to be addressed in the Rogue River Regional Master Plan and integrated environmental assessment.
  • The Dalles Dam visitor center winter hours extended for January Eagle Watch

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites guests to learn about raptors and other migratory birds and see them in the wild this winter. The Dalles Dam Visitor Center will be open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m Saturdays and Sundays for the month of January.

 Button image Right-click that icon, and then copy the shortcut to the Clipboard.
Press Ctrl+V to paste the information from the Clipboard into the RSS Feed location box.
