Corps seeks comments on Dairy Creek draft environmental assessment

PORTLAND, Ore. - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking public comment on a draft environmental assessment and draft Finding of No Significant Impact for a proposed environmental restoration project on Sauvie Island.

The purpose of the project is to improve fish and wildlife habitat by restoring Dairy Creek’s hydraulic connection to the Columbia River and improving the ecology of Sturgeon Lake within the Lower Columbia River Estuary. 

The draft EA and draft FONSI for the Dairy Creek Restoration Feasibility Study that address potential impacts associated with the activity are available for public review and comment on the Corps’ Portland District website at www.nwp.usace.army.mil/media/announcements.

Press Ctrl+V to paste the information from the Clipboard into the RSS Feed location box.
